Tuesday- Interviews and Tacos

We spent the whole day at interviews in New Albany. Was a real treat. For lunch we ran to get tacos and scarfed them down. After, all we had time for was a quick lesson with Ali and Tabitha!

Wednesday- Am I Shot??? but in french

My toxic trait is I will tell everyone all my experiences even if they're scary. Well today started off with living my best day in New Albany!!! On exchanges we went to a cutesy little park for some contacting. Their friends are so cute. This took a good hour. Lots of calling, texts, and a few lessons. We proceeded the day by knocking and stopping by some friends. We found the cutest lil friend named Shelo. Ate him up. The whole day consisted of every Haitian man telling me to learn French and Creole. They were so disappointed in me. We had a near death experience hence the title. After a shot went off indeed those words came out of Sister Weeds mouth. I will admit I did jump a little. Life is never boring here. Found out they have a zuppas here so of course we had to go. Almost cried and immediately thought of my mom and bestie Ayden. I ate it all up and enjoyed my time. We then rushed on over for some lessons where I proceeded to smile and wave. On the occasion whip out the first vision photo because I can always tell when she's about to whip that number out. Felt like I really contributed. However we did knock into some English friends and I said, my queen you just sit back, I got this one.

Thursday- Literal Hell breaking loose

Oh wowz buckle in. Most of today is confidential, but I'll say what I can. Basically we started off with a lil exercise moment. Absolutely destroyed my legs. Followed by a smoothie. As we left the house we had no idea what we were in for. We got to the library and began texting our friends when one of them responded with a terrifying favor, and so we called the Ap’s, well they tell us to call this individual and basically lie. Not great, but they needed information. Let's say by the end I had my jaw dropped and fought back tears. Proceeded to call our Mission President and then his wife. Absolutely unable to move forward and function. Cried and got some icecream. Sis Brockbanks (mission Presidents wife)orders. She's a queen, she really hyped us up and comforted us. I never thought I'd encounter so much on my mission. The real world is scary everyone. Well after pulling ourselves  together we went out and knocked. My literal medicine. We found a real treat of a lady named Jeanie and her daughter. Had a beautiful moment until some guy zoomed up yelling, swearing, cursing, and demanded this lady to come with him. Today is traumatic, that's for sure. Therapy might be needed lol. Well then we went knocking with a member because all our lessons canceled on us. Despite the cancellations and complete rejection for two hours I quite enjoyed our member and her testimony. She had me in tears. This woman survived two abusive relationships, was a widow at 27 and is a whole girl boss, spiritual queen. She really has a beautiful testimony and not very often do people bare their testimony to us. Needed that. Well we ended up driving to get a blessing. Only to find out someone didn't feel like they should be giving one. Just pure chaos I tell ya. But despite all of this. God is so incredibly good and my testimony is so rocked solid right now. The bad only means time to grow and be strengthened. Most crazy day of my life.

Friday- Stomach twisted and turning

Well yes today was a day yet again. President called us in personal study to let us in on more information and said there's a chance we will be doubled out for safety. At this point I am having a heck of a time. We try and get through our day, and we get another call from President with more information. I didn't think I could handle anymore lol. We had a great lesson with Ali and Tabitha. They told me they'd like to fly out and visit us in Utah. They're like family at this point. I love them so much. We then rushed to meet Holden who is a gem but scares me. He's our age and we decided to be super duper bold with our purpose just to make sure he has real interest In the gospel. He lowkey is so elect. We went knocking and found some really beautiful people.

Saturday- Baptism and Corn

We woke up and got to drive to Tallmadge to see Sharise get baptized. Was so cute. I also got to stop by and see Sister Blanks. She's got my whole heart. I love that woman. We headed back and got to knock a little before we went to our ward corn roast activity. It was wonderful. Ali and Tabitha came. I quite enjoyed chasing her kids and eating some bussing food with them. It was a real treat. Ended the night with all our church calls and a zone devotional. The Elders dropped the ball again, so we picked it up, I said the prayer and gave the spiritual thought. Really just pulling stuff out of thin air now.

Sunday- Heaven and Hell but mostly Hell

We had 4 friends come to church and it was absolutely wonderful. I chased Trejan for 15 minutes in the hall. Taught some friends and yapped it up with members. I love these people so much. At the end of church we get a text from the President to leave immediately after church. Well it was too late, somebody was already there so we had to post up in the Bishops office. Had a good ole time calling President in tears haha. Well we got home and then got a call to pack up and leave….. yippy. So we cleaned out the whole apartment and left to say goodbye to Ali and then headed to go stay with some Sisters. Elders had the audacity to ask us if we got ET because of our companionship??? Bruh we're not Elders. Anywho there was lots of tears and anxiety and hating the unknown. We took a long walk and shared our favorite miracles we've seen this transfer and thanked God for it all. Bro squading with the Spanish Sisters is so fun tho. Had a great nap on the floor.

Tuesday- Tv with Hermana Zwahlen In clearfork

A roller coaster ride. Had a lesson with Avery right off the bat. It was long but I felt the spirit so strongly. We testified so boldly. After we had a grand lesson with Ali but no Tabitha:( bussed our way up to Mansfield so sister Zwahlen could get a blessing. I ended up sharing a scripture from my personal study with my district. A moment where God needed me to have studied so I could then share it at the right time when it was needed desperately. It was a tender moment. We went knocking and within maybe less than an hour found some of the most elect people yet. We testified like crazy women. Absolutely laid down the law on the doorstep. It was beautiful. My Spirit was so lifted. After Avery had messaged with some concerns. I sent him a few voice recordings of my testimony and my whole body was filled with the spirit. I felt an indescribable feeling and as I looked over cute precious Sis. Zwahlen was in tears. We both were so touched by God's spirit. He came to teach us as well in that moment. Well that night ended with us having to stop teaching Avery. Now this could be a moment where I crumble specifically bcuz I thought I was here for him, but God very clearly taught me some important truths this day. Avery will still be taught, but by some elders. God's got a plan for him. He's got a plan for all of us.

Wednesday- DC + going ham + social media/ ward party miracle???

Okay wow buckle in. So district council was wonderful. So really the whole day was mid. Nothing super special just working like crazy. Well that night we had a ward activity. As we go in we already have some friends there we need to chop chicken with, so we work some magic and do all we can to convert. Well the worker goes hey are you logan?..... me throwing up not having heard my name in forever….. yes- oh you added me on facebook (yes I do my social media work diligently) we ended up chopping chicken about the bible and religion. He's catholic. Well at the end we invited him to church….. King said I'll be there. (Spoiler he did indeed come) such a small tender mercy that I needed that day. God is so good and works in so many unexpected ways. He loves us and he will use a simple friend requests on facebook to bring about miracles. Funniest part, I ALWAYS message people when I add them, but somehow I skipped over him and God made it possible for me to make up for that by crossing our paths in person.

Thursday- Tvs with Sister Reed in Clearfork

Best day yet!! After An hour of planning and tussling with the Lord we finally worked out. Followed by some good personal study. Got ourselves some delicious drinks and had some fun times contacting and doing companion study. Our favorite library worker was there and was so kind as always. He's a gem. Had a grand language study where I just went in a rabbit hole of the Book of Mormon. I love studying. We had a great lesson with Ali and really made some good ground work. This is where it takes off. We went knocking and we ended up just pulling off at the apartments we passed that felt good instead of doing my original plan. We found so many wonderful friends. My heart was just full today. We shared bold testimonies on every door step and just shared God's love. It was wonderful to just testify like crazy to everyone. I felt the spirit so strongly. We ended the night drenched in rain and just laughing our faces off. One of the days that keep me going and remind me how much I love this work.

Friday- spiders + Ronda + drenched

We did some scary service in an ancient home that's been unoccupied for years. I vacuumed some of the biggest spiders and spiderwebs I've ever seen. I was having to face my worst nightmare. After are lock on our house was broken and we couldn't get in. It was a good fight but we eventually managed to get in. We went and saw Ronda, a lady we found on Tuesday! She was so sweet and we taught her the restoration. She ate it up. After we went to go knocking. The first door was an amazing elect man. We had a great lesson with him right there on the door step. We went on to meet some amazing new friends and then the rain came. It was a crazy crazy storm. We got drenched. We drove back and got dinner, followed by some social media in the car. Such a fun day

Saturday- Tv with sister Buttars in Mansfield

Woke up and ran. Today was super fun. We had a great time in their bed bug infested apartment… If you know me this about sent me over the edge. Spent the rest of the day paranoid, BUT we saw miracles. We had some amazing phone call lessons and then we went knocking and were lead to some of the most ready people. We taught full lessons on peoples doorsteps. It was wonderful. The houses were similar to tallmadge so that also healed my soul. Best part was at one point there was a shooting up the street from us. No one was shot luckily, but there was an attempt and yes we were standing on that same street. About .. 5 car lengths down. The thrill keeps me alive because guess what..  God always protects. Obedience brings miracles. We had a member who actually served his mission here take us out for some Greek food…… Oh my I about passed away. It was so good. I think I am in love with authentic Greek food. We had a really hard experience with an Inactive member. Shes actually from my area. Her and her son were baptized in Galion. Just last year he was murdered. Her heart and soul was absolutely shattered. She no longer believes there's a god. I cant explain it, but I could almost feel that gut wrenching feeling. We gave her a hug and left our number.

Sunday- Aunt Logan and miracles

Wowza today was wonderful. We had Holden( the king from Facebook and the skating ward activity) come to church and Loved it. He cried and he took a book of Mormon. As we went to leave he was sitting outside reading on the benches….. not real.

Ali also came to church!!! She brought her two kids and it was quite the wrestle. I might have been slightly apostate and picked the kid up at one point. Ali was so precious. She asked when she could go to the temple and be sealed because they announced a sealing in sacrament. As the priesthood holders passed the sacrament she leaned over to her 2 year old Trey and said is that gonna be you one day? I fought back tender tears. My heart is so happy.

We also had Janet come. We gave her a church tour right before and introduced her to some members. She couldn't stay for the second hour but I think she enjoyed it.

After church we visited Ali and I chased her kids around. I am getting some practice in so I can come home and be the best little aunt for cute Finnian.

Welcome Home Sis. Hoyt

So Sister Hoyt didn't send a final email for her last week in her mission in Ohio. However lots of pictures were sent so I am attachin...
