July 29th

Tuesday- Tvs with sister Buttars

A wonderful day. Sister Buttars is a sweetiepie. We had a wonderful bold day together. We invited Tabitha to be baptized and she said yes!!!

Wednesday: woke up with sister buttars spent middle of day with sister Hadley ended night with sister weed. Wild.

District council was interesting and after we got Chipotle my favorite. We had some lessons and we invited Bill to be baptized!! He's gonna pray about it. We also found a really cool guy who wanted the Bom and was so interested. Ended night with a lesson with Avery. Always a real treat. He says I am the first one to actually challenge him. I love to teach. I called Joe Jackson(literally Mr Kirtland) he is going to join us for a lesson with Avery. Which will be an absolute treat. I felt so seen and heard as soon as he picked up the phone he said I know this voice, Sister Hoyt what are you doing in clearfork. It's almost like I served up north For 10 months. Met up for tvs and went to bed at mmm late.

Thursday- French with Sister Weed: living my alternative life and dream

Had a whole moment going to the New Albany gym. It's Like a bouje one-made me feel like I was a normal person. Didn't know how to act. Today I ate up all the Haitian friends!! They're so precious and I'm so jealous I never went French lol. All I was able to do was pick up a few words and bear my testimony. Wonderful day switching back, took forever yet again a late night. It's wonderful being a stl and sick at the same time there's no rest for the weary.

Friday-

woke up even more dead. Decided maybe I shouldn't exercise considering I can not breathe. I think I have coughed up A whole lung these last few days. I'm very concerned about why I get deadly sick every transfer. It's kind of my normal now. Friday morning training was so cute bcuz sister Brockbank is an absolute pure angel. weekly planning was a real treat we actually communicated with the zls that they were lowkey dropping the ball. It's amazing what happens when you speak your truth. Elders are a bit oblivious sometimes. We had some good member stop bys. Met a few fun inactive members. Really love people so much here. We then got some ice cream that was unexpected. There was no price and no picture well It came out expensive and full of sugar. I think my arteries clogged just looking at it.

Saturday- Me and Sister Goldberg in Clearfork

Woke up absolutely ready to go. For once I was not tired. Had a grand Ole workout absolutely destroyed my legs. Ate a hardy breakfast and spiritually fed myself in the Book of Mormon. We went to the library for some contacting and social media. We met one of the workers that apparently loves missionaries. Then we went to go teach and neither friend was home …. But we met a cute lady. She had been crying and she said she use to believe in Jesus Christ, but because of some circumstances she doesn't currently. It was pretty devastating and I just felt the spirit so so strongly with her. Well we also ended up yelling out the window at some people, and that hasn't happened in awhile. It brought me back to life a little. I love just proclaiming the gospel to literally everyone I see. Rest of the day was knocking and fighting the adversary. He sent angry people our way today.

Sunday- We didn't have friends come to church, but that allowed us to really focus on the sacrament and that was really beneficial. It was a tougher day, but we kept up momentum. Had a really great member meal. Lots of sync ups.

This week I've really been focusing on changing because and through Christ and personal conversion. It was a physically, emotionally, socially, mentally, and demanding  week. It caused a lot of growth to occur and a lot of gratitude. The hard is so necessary for growth to happen. Amongst every hard day or week I find my Savior more fully and find that my relationship with Him is being strengthened.

♡ FIND JOY IN CHRIST NOT IN YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES - this is a big important lesson
