I am alive. It's been a toughffy week. But nonetheless God is good and I'm still kicking
I need a major nap today so a quick update is all I can give. I survived a 5-6 day fever. Now is this partly my fault it lasted so Long… possibly… someone literally needs to take a chill pill. Basically to sum it all up I woke up Sunday wrecked Out of my mind like I said in the last email well Friday came around and I was still running fevers off and on. So finally after the 6th day I decided to go to bed at 7:30pm. Lesson learned.
Antwan called his baptism off and my heart felt like it was put in a blender, I was and am absolutely distraught over it. nonetheless I will not give up. He's knows the Book of Mormon is true (his words) so we can pull him back. Satan ain't gonna win. I'm fully ready to box out. Anywho this was a total surprise because Friday he had his interview it went amazing and then disaster.
Monday: Literally slayed pickleball sick as a dawg. Tiffany no showed us with a member.
Tuesday: Reatha trauma dumped on us and broke my entire heart has caused me nights of sleeplessness. Antwan so excited for baptism haha funny ain't it. Had a long night with the cute Hartmann locking their keys In a room a whole fiasco. Sick as a dawg
Wednesday: sick as a dawg. Sister Perry gave us all little Easter baskets and that was so beautiful. Met a lady named Joni who is actually elect her bf bear is something else. Joni is on date for baptism. Haha wild. Well then we go to a referall Bernedette and she was a QUEEN. A cute old lady in her bonnet. Well we taught her the restoration and she was locked in. Didn't break eye contact nothing just so drawn in. The spirit was indeed crazy. We walked out with sis Jordan saying she's never felt the spirit so strongly. Then it was time to go home and I was like ehhh God is telling me there's one more person so I'm driving and I see house 91 and it's like whip the car over rn and knock. So I did and met the most tender man who's ready for the gospel. God is good. Got home made chicken and switched for training visits. Up till 12 absolutely sick as a dawg get again.
Thursday: Training visits in Nepali work. Well it was a very interesting day. Didn't get into a house which was sad but no worries. Not much to say.
Friday: woke up absolutely destroyed. Fever, coughing, headache, well we did got to tell about our Friend/ recent convert Jeremy on our mission zoom call. Then we did contacting, studies, social media, showed up for a baptism and found out the guy never showed so we stuck around to see if he would. Real sad. The Nepali elders went out looking for him. We did a lesson with everyone that came and then ate. Me and Sister Burtenshaw were absolutely dead so we did another short training visit so me and sis B could zonk out at 7:30 and my comp and hers could do our last two lessons. Let's say I needed that so badly and so much earlier. Antwan also had passed his interview.
Saturday: woke up still absolutely dead. Was told to get my butt to urgent care but of course I don't listen. Anywho we had an Easter activity we helped out with. Went to Christine's taught her she ate it up. We taught a huge amount of social media people. We got a soda to get me through the day. Antwan called and we had an hour long call. Sobbed my face off after. Pulled it together and called everyone for church. Got a call to give a talk for Easter. Good heads up.
Sunday: lovely church program. No friends almost, but we're here for the one so we will celebrate 3/10 as a win. Gave a talk, did our studies, went to the Perry's for dinner and stayed for games and a devotional.
Our friend not keeping commitments Is absolutely heart destroying but I have faith and hope. Antwan will come around maybe before Saturday….
being on my mission and teaching others about the plan of salvation often known as the plan of love and mercy has taught me a lot about this Easter season. There would be no spirit world, resurrection, judgment, or kingdoms of glory without Jesus Christ.
The plan is only known as salvation, love, and mercy because and through Jesus Christ. It is his love for the father and us that got him through the suffering in Gethsemane.nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt”.
It is because of his mercy that we can be forgiven and redeemed from spiritual death. salvation is found through him rising the third day leaving with us the promise we too shall rise. Thus we overcome spiritual and physically death because of Him.
There's as song I'd love to share:
.I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives, my ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.
This next month I invite myself and you all to consider what has been made possible because of Him and to take upon yourself his name and bear his name with justice. Love others more freely this week, forgive others more quickly, submit your will this week.
Never can I repay thee, Lord,
But I can love thee
May we all strive to say nevertheless and allow God's will to become ours
